In Himachal Pradesh, the heat has been showing severe intensity for the last three days. The heat of Sun God is increasing day by day in the state. A temperature of 30.6 was recorded in the capital Shimla on May 26.
This was the hottest day of the season. Earlier, the same temperature was recorded on 31 May 2014. Queen of Hills Shimla has experienced so much heat after ten years.
The temperature in the plains has reached more than 44 degrees. Meteorological Center Shimla has issued an orange alert of heat wave in many parts for May 27-28. There is a yellow alert for May 29. According to the department, there may be rain in many parts of the state from May 30 to June 2. With this, people are expected to get relief from the intense heat.
Director of Meteorological Center, Dr. Surendra Paul said that in the last 48 hours the temperature in 6 districts of the state is 3 to 4 degrees above normal. It is 6 degrees more than normal in Mandi, Bilaspur and Mandi. Heat wave is going on in the state. There is no hope of relief from rising temperatures in the state in the next 48 hours.
Yellow heat alert has been issued for some areas, while orange alert has been issued for Mandi, Bilaspur and Hamirpur. He said that the temperature has also increased in Shimla.
Earlier, the highest temperature of 32.4 was recorded on 27 May 2010. This is the highest temperature ever recorded. He said that heat like situation will persist in the state in the next 48 hours.
There is no possibility of getting relief from the heat. Western disturbance is entering the state since May 28. There is a possibility of rain and there are chances of getting some relief from this increasing heat.
