A heated war of words broke out between the BJP and the Trinamool Congress over a viral video which shows a BJP worker claiming the party’s role in the Sandeshkhali episode. While the BJP called the video “fake/AI generated”, the ruling Trinamool Congress alleged that the video exposed the BJP’s “conspiracy” to defame West Bengal amid the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

After all the incidents happened in Sandeshkhali Mamata Banerjee slamed Mr. Modi and said to not shed crocodile tears on fake scenerios. The party is just playing politics by defaming other states that does run by the rulling party.

In a message posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the West Bengal Chief Minister accused the BJP of orchestrating the Sandeshkhali incident to tarnish the image of Bengal. She said, “The sting operation revealed the true face of the Bangla-Birodhis as they attempted to manipulate the emotions of my mothers and sisters. On May 13th, the people of Ranaghat shall ensure that the Bangla-Birodhis are ousted from Bengal.”

“I had for long stated that the BJP has been trying to malign the image of Bengal by orchestrating the Sandeshkhali incident.

The sting operation revealed the real face of the Bangla-Birodhis as they tried to manipulate the emotions of my mothers and sisters.

On the 13th of May, the people of Ranaghat shall ensure that the Bangla-Birodhis are ousted from Bengal” she said on ‘X’.

“Did anyone ever imagine that BJP would stoop so low that it would spread canards on Sandeshkhali? Don’t dishonour the mothers of West Bengal by levelling such heinous allegations. Don’t dare try to disrespect women of the state by offering them money to level false allegations against our party,” Mamata Banerjee said at Bolpur election rally.
