The results of the Lok Sabha elections are coming and the counting of votes is going on, which Pakistan is also keeping a close eye on. In the initial trends, the NDA alliance seems to be getting a majority but the India Block is also seen giving a tough fight. Reactions of Pakistani leaders have also started coming regarding the initial trends of the election results.
The counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections is going on today and trends have started coming on 543 seats of the country. According to the counting of votes so far, the BJP-led NDA has achieved the figure of absolute majority and has got a lead in more than 296 seats. At the same time, the performance of the ‘India’ block, an alliance of opposition parties including Congress, is also looking very good. India alliance is leading in 227 seats. Reactions have also started coming from Pakistan on the initial trends.
Fawad Chaudhary, who was the Information Minister in the previous Imran Khan government of Pakistan, is constantly keeping an eye on the counting of votes and he seems very happy with the performance of the India alliance. He is targeting BJP even before the official results.
Fawad Chaudhary has written on social media site X that he always had faith in the voters of India that they will reject those who spread hatred and extremists.
Fawad Chaudhary wrote in his tweet, ‘I have always had faith in the voters of India that they will reject those who spread hatred and extremists and it is quite clear that Modi and Rajnath are also barely able to reach the Lok Sabha… Rahul Gandhi is winning both the seats…’
Let us tell you that PM Modi is contesting from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh. In the initial rounds, Prime Minister Modi was seen lagging behind Ajay Rai of Congress by more than 6 thousand votes. However, soon he overtook the Congress candidate.
At the same time, Rajnath Singh was also seen lagging behind Samajwadi Party candidate Ravidas Mehrotra from Lucknow Lok Sabha seat in the initial round of counting. However, now he has gone ahead.
Many exit polls had said that this time BJP will get more than 400 seats but on the basis of the votes counted so far, this figure does not seem to be achieved. Fawad Chaudhary has also given his reaction on this. He said, ‘Exit polls have been shown in a very exaggerated manner.’
‘Muslims of India…’
At the same time, journalist Umar R Qureshi, who was the media advisor of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who was the foreign minister in the previous government of Shahbaz Sharif, has also given his reaction to the initial results by tweeting.
Qureshi wrote on X, ‘Muslims of India must be collectively breathing a sigh of relief today – maybe…’
In another tweet, he wrote, ‘Even one seat less than 350 will be seen as a big setback for BJP. Even if Modi forms the government for the third time, it will be his weakest government till date.’
Always had faith in indian voter that they will reject extremists and hate mongers and it’s very apparent even Modi and Rajnath are barely making it to LokSabha… Rahul Gandhi is winning both seats…
