Chauhan broke the record held by Namibia’s Jan-Nicole Lofty Eaton, who took 33 balls to complete his T20I century against Nepal in February 2024. Not only this, Chauhan has also come to the first number in the T20 (overall) list. They have left Chris Gayle behind.
