New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the film The Sabarmati Report, which is based on the Godhra incident. In his remarks, PM Modi emphasized that fake narratives cannot sustain for long and expressed appreciation for the effort to bring the truth to light. Sharing a post on his official X handle, he stated, “Very well said. It is good that the truth is coming out in a way that ordinary people can see it. A fake narrative does not last forever; ultimately, facts always prevail.”
A social media user named Alok Bhatt, referencing PM Modi’s comment, posted, “I believe everyone must watch ‘The Sabarmati Report.’ It sheds light on one of the most shameful episodes in our recent history with sensitivity and dignity. The film offers a chance for introspection about how the Sabarmati Express tragedy, where innocent passengers were burned alive, was politicized to tarnish the image of a leader. Lies were propagated to serve petty agendas, but truth eventually triumphs. This film is a tribute to the 59 innocent lives lost in that tragedy.”

Thank you for this love and support! History proves that whether it’s a nation or an individual, resilience prevails. However long the reign of lies, it is the truth that ultimately triumphs.”
