One important note: September 5, 2025, a Friday, is a blank day on the exam calendar. That’s because it’s Milad un Nabi, a gazetted Central Government holiday. And here’s something crucial from ICAI: don’t expect any shifts in the schedule if another public holiday pops up, whether it’s announced by the Central Government or any local body. The dates are set.
As for exam timings, most papers will run for three hours, from 2 PM to 5 PM IST. The big exception is Paper 6 for the Final exam, which gets an extra hour, running from 2 PM to 6 PM IST. For Foundation students, Papers 3 and 4 are shorter, each lasting two hours (2 PM to 4 PM IST). A handy detail: ICAI is giving everyone a 15-minute advance reading time, from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM. Just remember, this doesn’t apply to Foundation Papers 3 and 4 or any MCQ-based sections.
